Our plastic bag free campaigns (pbf) help spread awareness of what we can all do for the environment starting with one simple thing like carrying a reusable bag. Our pbf campaign slogan change is in the bag, represents the bag as a catalyst for change. The change starts with simple things like: Our retailers can be part of the change too: Starting at the till point, they should really ask us if we need a plastic bag instead of automatically handing us one As less plastic bags are required they will be forced to start offering eco alternatives
Our corporates can be part of the change too: By using eco alternatives to plastic bags at events, conferences and in their restaurants. Encourage recycling in the office, bring back the coffee mug to cut down in the use of plastic cups.
The ideas are endless, there is always one little thing we can all do which will make a difference. Our 'Plastic Bag Free' Campaigns  Our first Plastic Bag Free campaign kicked off in Dundee, on the 1st of December 2007. Armed with trolley loads of free 100% eco-friendly jute bags, the people of Dundee relished the prospect of becoming the first city to become plastic bag free. They snapped up our stylish,eco-friendly jute bags and showed the world that change was well and truly in the bag!
There are three important elements which make our community based pbf campaigns a success: pro-active support from retailers, interest and co-operation from local councils and of course participation from the general public.
